Occupational Therapy Workshops in Biłgoraj
The Occupational Therapy Workshops in Biłgoraj were established in 1999 by the "Krok za krok" Association, Field Circle in Biłgoraj. The main objective of therapy at the Occupational Therapy Workshops is to support people with disabilities in achieving inner balance, raising self-esteem, increasing independence. At the Workshops therapy is conducted through work, therapeutic, vocational and social rehabilitation, pedagogical therapy, psychological therapy and medical care. The Centre is also an organizer of many events, such as: trips, rallies, bonfires, sleigh rides, sports competitions, occasional meetings, theater performances. The SHC actively participates in promoting the image of a person with disabilities as a full-fledged member of society. Currently 45 people with disabilities from Biłgoraj County participate in the workshops. Classes are held in the following workshops: printing, carpentry, artistic handicraft, ceramics and laundry, environment and nature, cultural animation, wickerwork, household, fine arts and physical rehabilitation.
