Social Activation Center in Zamość

The Social Activation Center in Zamość (CAS) was established in 2006. The Center offers group trainings in self-reliance and independence. Under the supervision of qualified therapists, participants learn to perform various activities that are useful in everyday life, such as preparing meals, washing dishes, cleaning, laundry, planning leisure time, using and behaving appropriately in public places. The stay at the CAS also gives the participants a chance to be more active in terms of cooperation in a group of peers and communication with the community, while for their families it is a moment of rest and respite from everyday care responsibilities.
