Social Activation Center 2

The Center for Social Activation 2 (CAS 2) is an organizational unit of the Association established in 2011 in Białobrzegi (Zamość commune). The accessibility assistants working at the Center conduct independence trainings in which adults with multiple disabilities caused in most cases by cerebral palsy or multiple organ injuries resulting from accidents have an opportunity to develop self-care skills, including motor functions, communication, functioning in a group, preparing for work and fulfilling new social roles. The activities of the Center give participants access to specialized therapeutic activities by providing them with necessary support through assistance in movement, communication, and other necessary self-service activities. Daily self-care and independence trainings lasting several hours are conducted in small groups of participants.
